Health Insurance at TFP

Health Insurance at TFP

We work directly with major UK insurers including AXA Health, Bupa, Aviva, Vitality, WPA, and more. Our team makes the process simple so you can focus on recovery, not paperwork.

How It Works

  • Standard sessions (≈30 min) are fully covered by most insurers.

  • Longer sessions are available privately if you want extra time (not covered by insurance).

  • We bill your insurer directly for approved treatment.

  • Excess or shortfalls: If your policy doesn’t cover the full cost, we’ll invoice you separately.

Before You Book

  1. Check your cover

    • Does your policy include physiotherapy?

    • Is there a session limit or annual cap?

    • Do you need a GP referral (some insurers, like Bupa, require this)?

  2. Get pre-authorisation

    • Call your insurer with your policy number, reason for treatment, and our clinic name: The Fighting Physiotherapy Clinic.

    • They’ll issue a pre-authorisation code — you’ll need this before we begin treatment.

  3. Know your excess

    • Most policies include an excess (out-of-pocket amount).

    • We’ll invoice you separately for this if it applies.

Ongoing Treatment

  • Keep track of how many sessions you’ve used.

  • If you need more than your allowance, we can help request further authorisation.
